Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of TryHair Wig Try-On by Shopify merchants and shoppers using the merchant’s storefront widget.

1. Agreement and operator

These Terms form an agreement between the Shopify merchant installing or using the App (“Merchant,” “you,” or “your”) and TryHair.ai (“TryHair,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing, selecting a plan, or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you use the App for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it.

2. The service

The App identifies likely wig products, lets Merchants choose products on which to display a Try On widget, and creates AI-generated previews using the product image a shopper is currently viewing and a shopper-provided photo. The App also provides usage limits, plan management, and aggregate analytics.

The App does not add items to carts, process orders or refunds, attribute purchases, or guarantee that a generated image matches the physical product.

3. Merchant responsibilities

Maintain an eligible Shopify store and Online Store sales channel and follow Shopify’s terms and policies.
Use only product images and other content you own or are authorized to use.
Provide shoppers with legally required privacy notices and obtain consent for photo processing where required.
Configure and test the App Embed, product eligibility, theme compatibility, pricing plan, and usage settings before making the widget available.
Not use the App for unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or non-consensual content.

4. Shopper content

A shopper must upload only a photo they are authorized to use. The shopper retains rights in the uploaded photo. The shopper and Merchant grant us a limited, temporary license to process the photo and selected product image solely to validate inputs, generate the requested preview, secure the service, and return the result.

Photos and generated results are not stored by our application after processing and are not used for AI model training. See our Privacy Policy.

5. Plans, usage, and Shopify billing

Current plans and charges are described on the Pricing page and in Shopify’s plan-selection and billing interfaces. Charges are in USD unless Shopify displays otherwise.

Only a successful try-on reported to Shopify counts toward included usage or usage-based charges.
Paid plans may include usage-based charges after the included tier. Merchants can disable additional try-ons in the App; when disabled, generation stops at the included limit.
Shopify App Pricing processes subscription and usage charges, plan changes, invoices, credits, taxes, and billing-cycle timing. The terms shown by Shopify at approval control if they conflict with a pricing summary on our site.
Merchants can upgrade or downgrade without contacting support. Plan changes take effect according to the confirmation shown by Shopify.

Billing questions: contact us at contact@tryhair.ai. Any refund, credit, or billing adjustment is subject to Shopify’s billing systems, applicable law, and the circumstances of the request.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, compliance, quality, or service viability. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, universal theme compatibility, or a particular AI output.

7. AI output disclaimer

AI-generated results are simulations for visualization only. Color, scale, hairline, density, texture, lighting, fit, and appearance may differ from the actual wig. Merchants must not present generated previews as guarantees. Shoppers should rely on the Merchant’s product information and policies when making purchase decisions.

8. Intellectual property

Merchants retain rights in their product content. TryHair and its licensors retain rights in the App, software, models, branding, documentation, and service design. Except as allowed by law, you may not reverse engineer, copy, resell, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the App.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using or uninstall the App at any time. We may restrict or suspend access for security threats, non-payment, unlawful use, material breach, or risk to Shopify, merchants, shoppers, or the service. Uninstalling does not erase charges already incurred. Data deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TryHair will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses; lost profits, sales, data, goodwill, or business opportunities; or decisions based on an AI preview. Our aggregate liability arising from the App will not exceed the amounts the Merchant paid for the App during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.

12. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, the Merchant will defend and indemnify TryHair against third-party claims arising from the Merchant’s content, storefront disclosures, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by TryHair.

13. Governing terms and changes

Shopify’s applicable agreements continue to govern the Merchant’s relationship with Shopify. We may update these Terms for legal, security, or product changes. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law; material changes will be communicated where required.
