TryHair Wig Try-On

Help center

Get TryHair live on your store

Install the app, enable your wig products, turn on the storefront widget, and test a virtual try-on. Most stores can complete setup in a few minutes.

Setup

1

Enable wig products

Open the App in Shopify Admin. Review the detected products, enable products individually, or use Enable all detected products.

2

Review your plan

Start with Free or select Starter, Growth, or Pro. Paid plans and usage charges are approved and billed through Shopify.

3

Enable the App Embed

From the setup checklist, open the theme editor. Under App embeds, enable TryHair Try-On and click Save. Theme editor setup requires a desktop browser.

4

Test a product

Open an enabled wig product in the storefront. Select a product photo, click Try On, upload a clear front-facing selfie, and generate the preview.

Common questions

The Try On button does not appear

Confirm that the product is enabled in the App, the TryHair App Embed is enabled and saved in the published theme, and the current media is an image rather than video or 3D. Refresh the storefront after saving theme changes.

Why is a product not detected automatically?

Automatic detection is a setup aid. Product titles, types, tags, and descriptions may not clearly identify every wig. You can manage supported products from the App’s product list.

Why was a shopper photo rejected?

The App rejects photos with no detectable face, multiple faces, a face that is too small, or a severe side angle. Ask the shopper to use a clear, well-lit, front-facing photo.

What counts toward usage?

Only a result that is successfully generated and displayed is counted. Failed validation or generation attempts do not consume successful try-on usage.

What is the shopper limit?

Each pseudonymous browser visitor can complete up to seven successful try-ons in a fixed seven-day period. This operates separately from the Merchant’s plan allowance.

How do additional try-ons work?

Starter, Growth, and Pro use Shopify App Pricing tiers. When additional try-ons are enabled, successful usage beyond the included tier is billed at the plan’s per-unit rate. Turn the setting off to stop generation at the included limit.

Are shopper photos stored?

No. Shopper photos, selected wig images, and generated results are processed in transient memory and are not stored in our Firestore database or Cloud Storage. See the Privacy Policy.

Can I use the theme editor on a phone?

Shopify’s theme editor setup should be completed in a desktop browser. Shoppers can use the Try On widget on supported desktop and mobile browsers after setup.
